I am a maître de conférences (MCF) in algebraic geometry at the
Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux, member of the Number Theory Group (Équipe de Théorie des Nombres) and organiser of the Colloquium de l'IMB.
I am the PI of the ANR JCJC FRACASSO project.
I am the coordinator of the Master 2 program AGTN (Algebra, Geometry and Number Theory) Université de Bordeaux.

My research interests are in birational geometry, especially
- Fano varieties and fibrations;
- Cremona groups;
- Pathologies in positive characteristic;
- Rational curves and rational simple connectedness;
- Rationality questions;
- Birational classification of algebraic varieties and minimal model program.
